Location
For take off, here by the gate
Location
For general outside the venue viewing, anywhere in this picture
Location
I have been unable to find out which planes are flying but judging by todays practice flights, there will be spitfires, and mustangs and the harvard among others, rumors are rife on the internet that lord march was the mysterious donor to the Vulcan to the skies project and that it will be making an unannouced flight though it is not listed on the vulcan website and the red arrows are listed as being in Newcastle.
As per the festival of speed, i shall be putting a few teaser pics up before i do a gallery, with the camera fixed hopefully the pictures should be a lot better then the festival ones!

1000 Hits from 25 countries and counting…
Well as you know my site has been up a while now and after some mathematics and removing every time i log in today i have had 1000 hits on my website from 25 different countries which is above average according to Google… not bad for a 3 month old site.
Thank you to all that have visited and had a look and please come back also feel free to leave your comments under each post you can remain anonymous if you wish just make up an email address.
Heres some interesting facts for you … or maybe not….
when searching Google World Wide for “waynes photos” Ranked 2nd of about 42 million results
when searching Google uk for “waynes photos” Ranked 1st from 400,000 results
The busiest single day was 2nd July with 55 hits
The single most popular post overall has been The London Architecture Poll with 46 visits but only 15 votes ![]()
The average page view is 2.71 pages per visit, spending 3 minutes 17 seconds viewing those pages.
In reality there are a high number of single page visits staying for 10 seconds or less, but here have been a number of visitors how have stayed and given the site a thorough read through thanks you to Mondays visitor who stayed for 29 minutes reading 12 pages from the Uk.
55% of people visiting the site return for another look… ![]()
33% of visitors arrived from google or other search engines.
Overall there were visits from 25 countries around the globe in order of most hits first here are the stats
The 25th Country or region is … Unknown (ip region not set) so it could have come from anywhere
There are hundreds more stats i could bore you with but i wont, but i will tell you that i can even tell the screen resolution of the pics or handheld devices the website is viewed on and i will be using this in future to maximise the size of the photos i put up.
shame about the lens flare in this picture
hope i havent sent you to sleep, come back soon as i have some more images to post this week.

Legoland Windsor
Well i was lucky enough to have received a group invite for me, Ellena & Olivia to Legoland, Windsor with my Friends Mark, Helen and their little boy
Oliver.
Let me start by saying both myself and the girls had a wonderful time and a big thanks to Helen for Driving, lunch and treats, Mark for being good company and Oliver for being himself and entertaining the girls.
Being older and not a kid anymore
I’m not sure what i expected to get or see from Legoland, i think the best part of the day was seeing the kids have so much fun, it was very very hot and there were lots of long queue’s to get on the rides so we wandered around avoiding all the queue’s (which were mostly for the bigger kids) there is so much to do more than you can fit in one day possibly 2 depending on the amount of people in the park at the time.
I’m guessing school holiday is probably the peak time for Legoland and wondered when is a quiet time (probably not at all) in order to avoid the crowds. My idea of Legoland was loads of Lego made buildings everywhere you go with kids rides and things to do in between, but its more of a theme park with one section where the Lego village is aka “mini land”. the park its self was very well maintained however given the prices they charge for entrance and food once inside , its clear to see that revenues go more on rides and activities than on the Lego content but that is more of an adults view on it and doesn’t detract from the fact that IT’S A GREAT DAY OUT AND I WOULD LOVE TO GO AGAIN SOME TIME.
Here are 2 photographs that were made up from a series of images stitched together to make a panorama view of 2 of the “Mini lands”

Trip advice: Book tickets in advance, arrive for 10am (park open time) take lunch and plenty of fluid to drink, source a map and plan your route around the park and lastly there isn’t much shelter so dress according to the weather, ie sun hats and cream or waterproofs.
Enjoy… i did!!

How do you stop Image theft?
Well its a very commonly asked question, there are many reasons why people steal images, there are even more ways to steal them, most commonly “right click save as”.
The long and the short of it is you can’t stop people as they will always find a way, most of the time its to use as desktop images but some people print them off or repost them and call them thier own work, or even reuse on their own web site without your permission.
In one respect it could be seen as flattering that someone thinks your images or photos are nice enough to keep or use but, on the other foot as a photographer or artist you personally invested time in producing the image and why should someone take that for free or worse still without asking (just plain rude!).
My blog uses an anti right click script ( GO ON TRY RIGHT CLICK) but even this can be got round if you really know your stuff, so I will be watermarking my photos in the future, I find this annoying to the viewer so I will try and keep it obvious but not destructive to look at.
Alternatively you can use a reverse picture serach engine which i have found TinEye and works well or if you want to know what people are copying from your website you can use Tynts Tracer Service .
Let it be known not only Big Brother is watching you.
Not everything in life is free but ask and you might be pleasantly surprised !
Hope you found this useful.
