After the weekend has gone and i have sorted through all my images i will do a specifc gallery for all the images rather than lots of posts, but mean while here is a slighty enhance hdr image of the center piece at the festival of speed 2010 right on the lawn in front of Goodwood House, this year celebrating 100 years of Alfa Romeo.
I will back back on saturday to take shots of the racing, rally stage and the red arrows display and maybe some F1 cars.
check back for more pics soon……
My first ever Sunrise shoot, and for sure it didnt go to plan at all, having stayed up all night at the trundle fog very nearly ruined everything sadly no shafts of sunlight hitting the statue but theres always next time.
The trundle (St Roaches hill) An ancient iron age fort, is now a temporary home to something a little newer in Bronze.
Artemis a 30ft giant horses head cast in bronze Named by the creator/ sculptor Nic Fiddian-Green now stands tall overlooking the sussex downs, glorious goodwood, chichester and a large section of the south coast.
As you can see in the second picture the entire singleton, charlton and east dean valley was thick in fog giving a sureal image of this giant horses head appearing to float on the clouds.
this will definatley be the first of many trips as i cant fit in before the statue disappears for good…….

The horse has now moved from the trundle and its location is now the private members area at the racecourse see here ………. Location

All credit for this picture goes to my dad, who without his tip off i would never have known these were right on my doorstep….
thsi ones for you…..
Not Much to say about todays post apart from i went out by chance looking for new things to photograph and it turned out it was worth it, not quiet the shot i had in mind but quite atmospheric…..
Today im going to contradict myself, while out walking yesterday, I decided that i dont post nearly as many images as I should and mostly its becasue i’m too critical of my own work and that I only want to show the good stuff, but maybe thats not how it should be after all if I take a photo it must have been for a reason right? So I thought why not share some more…. and as and when i take a good shot every time i can start weeding out the rubbish afterall im not a professional photographer so im bound to take a few bad ones.
That said here is todays post taken a few weeks ago i just havent got round to it and it just so happens i think that this is one of my betters ones. Sunday evening after a long hot weekend i went down to Bosham harbour at high tide as the sun was setting i sat for about an hour and watch the sun disappear and then smiled as the sky turned a fabulous colour and here is the result…….
Comments welcome.
I felt the urge to go out one evening and take pictures i had no idea where to go or what to shoot so i just went for a walk, I started down at Bracklesham Bay but ended up in East Wittering, heres a couple of photos that i took.
While out driving recently I saw this huge rainstorm hammering down, it was quite a weird scene, with the sun hitting the bright rape fields, and the overly dark clouds hung very low in the sky baring down, yes I did get wet taking this pictures I hung around too long.
Not one of my greatest images but thought I would share none the less.
One thing that has been in my diary since i missed out last year is to get a nice shot of some bluebells, the bank holday weekend was looking rather damp but today proved much better for going out exploring here are a few of my photos from today…
Whether you know me, looked me up or found my site by accident i always welcome feedback or input on any content or critique on images just drop a note in the comments you don’t have to register.
Enjoy
