Sunset over Bournemouth Beach
Taken during my weekend away at Bournemouth this sunset shot was taken at the same place as the last one but pointing directly at the sun without adjusting for shadows, giving this harsh contrast which i quite like.

Heres some interesting facts for you … or maybe not….

The busiest single day was 2nd July with 55 hits
The single most popular post overall has been The London Architecture Poll with 46 visits but only 15 votes ![]()
The average page view is 2.71 pages per visit, spending 3 minutes 17 seconds viewing those pages.
In reality there are a high number of single page visits staying for 10 seconds or less, but here have been a number of visitors how have stayed and given the site a thorough read through thanks you to Mondays visitor who stayed for 29 minutes reading 12 pages from the Uk.
55% of people visiting the site return for another look… ![]()
33% of visitors arrived from google or other search engines.
Overall there were visits from 25 countries around the globe in order of most hits first here are the stats
The 25th Country or region is … Unknown (ip region not set) so it could have come from anywhere
There are hundreds more stats i could bore you with but i wont, but i will tell you that i can even tell the screen resolution of the pics or handheld devices the website is viewed on and i will be using this in future to maximise the size of the photos i put up.
shame about the lens flare in this picture
hope i havent sent you to sleep, come back soon as i have some more images to post this week.

Bournemouth Pier
On A busy Sunday afternoon where better to take an hours drive, to the busiest pier you can find so you can try and take a photo without people in it as the sun sets, after a composition struggle as i couldn’t seem to get the shot i wanted straight, when in doubt shoot it wonky!
a pleasant afternoon had by all

Bournemouth Pier
Enjoy
the last of a full moon
Full moon rising over Bognor pier, not as great as I hoped but I was short on time and have never tried this type of shot before.
